Group Personal Accident (GPA) Insurance
Group Personal Accident Insurance provides financial protection for employees in the event of accidental death or disability. Coverage can be structured based on a fixed sum insured or linked directly to each employee’s salary.
When a company arranges coverage on a salary-multiple basis (for example, 30 months of salary), the policy ensures that in case of an employee’s accidental death, the insurer will compensate the beneficiary with the equivalent of 30 months’ wages.
This approach helps the company:
Transfer liability for workplace accidents (where the law requires compensation to employees or their families).
Protect employees and families, providing meaningful financial support.
Enhance employer reputation, showing care and responsibility toward staff welfare.
