Job Summary

Responsible for developing and managing TIS’s reinsurance brokerage operations, with a primary focus on arranging Outward Facultative reinsurance for Property, Construction & Engineering, and Specialized Risks.

The position is responsible for the end-to-end placement process, from analyzing clients’ risks and reinsurance needs, designing reinsurance structures, and accessing the market, to negotiating terms and capacity and completing the placement. The role also involves developing Facultative Facilities, strengthening international reinsurance capabilities and partner networks, and contributing to the growth of TIS’s Reinsurance business and revenue.

Key Responsibilities                                          

• Manage and develop Outward Facultative Reinsurance businesses across Property, Construction & Engineering, and Specialty Risks (Non-Marine Insurance).
• Analyze clients’ risks and reinsurance needs to advise on appropriate reinsurance structures and solutions.
• Lead the marketing and placement process, secure reinsurance capacity, and negotiate terms with domestic and international reinsurers and reinsurance brokers.
• Develop Facultative Facilities and capacity solutions for specific risk segments and partner insurance companies.
• Build and strengthen relationships with domestic and international insurance companies, reinsurers, and reinsurance brokers.
• Develop clients, business opportunities, and revenue for the Reinsurance division.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the reinsurance team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Insurance, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry, with Outward Facultative Reinsurance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Property, Construction & Engineering, and Specialty Risks.
• Proven experience in risk analysis, reinsurance structuring, placement, capacity arrangement, and negotiations with reinsurers/reinsurance brokers.
• Good understanding of retention, Treaty capacity, and Facultative Reinsurance; experience in developing Facultative Facilities is an advantage.
• Strong relationships with domestic and international insurance companies and reinsurance markets.
• Good command of English, with the ability to communicate, negotiate, and handle technical insurance/reinsurance documentation.
• Strong commercial acumen, business development, negotiation, and team management skills
